Welcome to "FLI with me" - a resource for educators & students at RSES & beyond. My purpose for the website as a whole is to provide a one-stop shop for teachers & students looking for both ideas/inspiration as well as practical resources they can download and get started on immediately.
Blogging is quickly replacing traditional paper resources such as newspapers and magazines. Where I used to flip through magazines and tear pages out that inspired me....I now create a pinterest board & save them neatly into one location for future reference. Where I used to search the local newspapers for current events relevant to an upcoming lesson...I now do a quick internet search from trustworthy news sources. Nearly every reading habit we grew up utilizing is being replaced with a digital "equivalent." My vision for the "FLI with me" blog is to showcase innovative lessons & ideas our RSES teachers are doing as well as provide ideas & pictures of lessons from classrooms around the world. |
